This summary is here to help you find your way. The full text below is what applies.
1.Your rights under consumer law
This policy adds to your rights under consumer law. It doesn't replace or limit them.
Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. If there's a major failure, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value. If a failure isn't major, we'll fix it in a reasonable time, and if we don't, you can cancel and get a refund for the unused portion.
If you live outside Australia, you also keep any refund rights the consumer laws of your country give you.
2.Cancelling a paid plan
- You can cancel a Team or Business plan at any time. There's no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've paid for. Then the workspace moves to the Free plan and stops renewing.
- Nothing is deleted when you cancel or downgrade. If the workspace is over a Free plan limit, you keep everything, but can't add more until you're back under it.
3.Changing your mind in the first 14 days
If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment for a paid plan, we'll refund that payment in full. This applies to monthly and yearly plans, wherever you live.
To ask for it, email [email protected] from your account's email address within those 14 days.
4.After the first 14 days
- We don't refund part of a billing period if you change your mind, cancel, remove members or stop using Wattle Board, except where the law requires us to.
- If you're on a yearly plan and something about your situation changes, talk to us. We'll look at each request fairly.
5.When something goes wrong on our side
- If we bill you incorrectly, we'll refund the amount we got wrong.
- If a fault on our side stops you using Wattle Board, tell us. We'll look at what happened and, where it's fair, give you a credit or refund for the time affected. This is on top of your rights under consumer law.
- If we stop offering Wattle Board or a paid feature you've paid for, or close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund what you've prepaid for the time after it stops.
- If we close your account because you seriously broke our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, we don't refund the current billing period, except where the law requires us to.
6.How to ask for a refund
Email [email protected] from your account's email address, with “Refund” in the subject line. Tell us which workspace and payment it's about, and what happened. We'll let you know whether we can refund you and, if we can't, why not.
7.How refunds are paid
We refund to the payment method you used, in Australian dollars, within 14 days of agreeing to the refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
We can't refund fees your bank charges, or differences caused by exchange rates.
8.Disputed payments
If you don't recognise a charge or think it's wrong, please contact us before you dispute it with your bank. We can usually sort it out faster.
Disputing a charge doesn't cancel your plan. To stop future charges, cancel the plan.
