1.About this policy
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses Wattle Board, including people invited to a workspace or board.
Workspace Owners and Admins are responsible for making sure the people they invite follow it too.
2.Illegal and harmful content
Don't use Wattle Board to store, share or link to:
- material that sexually exploits or endangers children, which we report to the authorities
- content that's illegal where you are or in Australia, or that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights
- threats, harassment, or content that promotes violence or hatred against people because of who they are
- other people's personal information that you don't have the right to use, or private information shared to intimidate someone
- malware, phishing pages or anything designed to trick people or harm their devices
3.Invitations, mentions and access requests
Invitations, @mentions, notifications and access requests send messages to real people. Use them for real work only.
- Don't send invitations or access requests to people who haven't asked for them, in bulk, or to advertise something.
- Don't keep requesting access to a board after its Admins have said no.
- Don't use comments or mentions to harass someone.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, or suggest you speak for an organisation when you don't.
4.Security and fair use
- Don't try to get into accounts, workspaces or boards you haven't been given access to, or to get around two-factor sign-in, rate limits or board permissions.
- Don't interfere with the service or other people's use of it, for example by flooding it with requests or uploads.
- Don't scrape Wattle Board or use automated tools to create accounts, send invitations or post content.
- Don't use Wattle Board as general file hosting. Attachments are for the work on your boards.
- Don't resell access to Wattle Board without our written agreement.
5.Reporting a problem
If you see something on Wattle Board that breaks this policy, email [email protected] with “Abuse report” in the subject line. Tell us what you saw, with a link to the board or card if you have one. A person will read every report.
If you're a member of the board, you can also tell the board's Admins, who can remove content or people straight away.
6.What we do about breaches
We look into reports and decide what's fair given how serious the problem is. We may:
- ask you to remove content or change how you're using Wattle Board
- remove or restrict access to content
- suspend or close an account or workspace, as our Terms of Service describe
- report illegal content or activity to the authorities
Where we can, we'll tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond before we act. We act straight away when there's a risk of serious harm or the law requires it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our email and a person will review it.
7.Security research
We welcome reports from people who find security problems in Wattle Board. Email [email protected] with the details and how to reproduce the problem. We'll reply, keep you updated while we fix it, and credit you if you'd like.
When you test, use only accounts and boards you own or have permission to test, don't access or change other people's data, don't run denial-of-service tests or send spam, and give us a reasonable chance to fix a problem before you share it publicly. If you follow these rules in good faith, we won't take action against you.
8.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to deal with new kinds of abuse. We'll post changes here and update the date at the top, and email account holders about significant changes.
