Wattle Board is made by Wattle Cloud, a small team in Australia. We build tools we'd want to use every day ourselves.
Most of the work a team does passes through a list somewhere. We wanted that list to feel good to open: quick to change, easy to share, clear about who's doing what, and quiet enough to look at all day.
So we built Wattle Board around a few simple ideas. Boards should update live, so nobody works from an old copy. Security should be on for everyone, not tucked away in a setting. And the whole thing should look calm in the morning and at midnight.
We're a small company, and we'd rather tell you plainly what Wattle Board does today than promise what it might do one day. When something is planned, we say so.
Why “Wattle”?
Golden wattle is Australia's national flower. It's tough, it grows almost anywhere, and it brightens the bush in late winter. That's what we want our software to be: hardy, at home anywhere, and a little bit cheerful.
